TABLEAUX MINIATURES
These photographs are about the act of conditioning. Much like the first few lines of a novel or an empty theatre set, they involve mental positioning and evoke anticipation.
Each miniature tableau is a counter-reality, a channel for the exploration of expectation and recognition.
I always have been drawn to things that are approximations of some idea of reality, because inevitably they function as a foil for that "reality."
